Professional Summary

Whether you publish or write medical and scientific manuscripts or similar content, the work needs to be clear, coherent, and comprehensive. As a freelance medical editor with two degrees in neuroscience, an editing certificate from the University of Chicago, and research experience, I can help you produce work that meets rigorous scientific and ethical standards and complies with publishing requirements. I work with organizations that publish medical and scientific manuscripts and similar content, as well as individuals who want to publish journal articles and complete their dissertations and theses.

A Bit More About Me

Outside of the lab, I am a big fan of reading, writing, and making embroidery on canvas. My favorite book is Brain by Robin Cook, and I am currently working on a historical fiction novel about time travel and the Second Italian War of Independence (sounds crazy, I know, but trust the process). I am neurodivergent, so my attention to detail is impeccable as well as my ability to hyperfixate on the task at hand. This is part of the reason I enjoy editing so much (as well as the fact that I get to read so much interesting literature!). I'm also a big fan of reading neuroscience non-fiction for fun, which allows me to expand my neuroscience knowledge when I am no longer in the classroom.
